I’m planning to bring more light into my kitchen—would installing a skylight be a good option for this purpose?

I’ve got five skylights installed throughout my home, and I’m actually considering adding a sixth in the master bedroom. There’s something special about basking in natural light and stargazing right from bed. If you’re building new, adding skylights really doesn’t bump up the cost much. Just make sure to opt for low-E glass to enhance energy efficiency.
I’m quite keen on skylights myself. A mate of mine, who happens to be an interior designer, mentioned that roof windows can boost your property’s value, provided they’re installed properly and are of decent quality.
I am considering this option also. Did you manage to buy one? I would be very grateful if you share your experience 🙂
