General Returns & Exchanges
At Skylights.co.uk, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, if you need to return an item, please note the following:
A 25% restocking fee applies to all returned merchandise, unless the item is defective.
Return shipping costs in both directions are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds are processed within 10 working days once the returned items are received at the Skylights.co.uk warehouse.
Skylights.co.uk is not responsible for any labour or installation costs incurred as a result of incorrect or defective products.
Damaged Shipments
If your order from Skylights.co.uk arrives damaged:
Thoroughly inspect the package before accepting the delivery.
If any damage is visible or suspected, please refuse the shipment.
Contact Skylights.co.uk immediately, and we will do everything we can to rush a replacement to you as quickly as possible.
Before Placing Your Order
To avoid unnecessary returns and charges:
If you purchase the wrong size or product, we will need to cancel and refund the entire order. In this case:
A transaction fee of up to 5% will be deducted.
If your order has already been dispatched, the return shipping fees will also be deducted from your refund.
Refunds are processed within 10 working days of the items arriving back at Skylights.co.uk.
Eligible Items for Return (within 30 days of purchase)
The following items may be returned to Skylights.co.uk for a refund if the return request is made within 30 days of purchase:
Merchandise that has not been removed from its original packaging
Defective merchandise
Items that were mispacked or incorrectly shipped
Merchandise that has not been installed
Custom Orders
Please note that:
Custom-made skylights or bespoke products cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
It is the customer’s responsibility to double-check all specifications, measurements, and details before confirming a custom order.
