**REGAL GLASS WARRANTY POLICY**

**1. General Terms and Conditions**

This warranty policy ("Warranty") is issued by Skylights.co.uk ("we", "us", and "our") and applies to all Skylights.co.uk products ("Product" or "Products") sold in the United Kingdom.

This Warranty starts on the date of the purchase of the Product and lasts for a period of twenty (20) years ("Warranty Period"). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace a warranted product or any parts. We may change the availability of this warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.

**2. Warranty Coverage**

We warrant that during the Warranty Period, the Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use in accordance with the included installation instructions and any additional Product guidelines and instructions.

This Warranty covers the original purchaser ("you") from the original purchase date and is not transferable. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice, indicating the date of purchase and location, is evidence that the Product is within the Warranty Period.

**3. Remedy**

If a material or workmanship defect arises with regard to any Product, and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, we will, at our discretion, either: (1) repair the defect at no charge, using new parts or parts equivalent to new in performance and reliability, (2) exchange the Product with a Product with equivalent functionality formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability or with your consent, a Product that is at least functionally equivalent to the Product it replaces.

**4. Exceptions and Exclusions**

This Warranty does not cover:

a) Products marked as "sample" or sold "AS IS";

b) Products that have been subjected to: misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, modification, improper installation, or unauthorized repairs;

c) Products not installed using our recommended foam rope and silicone;

d) Products where the identification label has been removed or altered;

e) Damages exceeding the cost of the product;

f) Damage caused by natural disasters or acts of God, for example, fire, flood, earthquakes, and hurricanes;

g) Any third-party products, including connected devices and related software;

h) Normal wear and tear or ageing of the Product, including cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, and broken glass;

i) Costs associated with the removal, installation, or reinstallation of the Product.

**5. Claim Process**

To make a claim under this Warranty, you must, within the Warranty Period, notify us in writing of your claim and provide us with proof of purchase indicating the purchase date and location, together with a detailed description of the alleged defect, including photos or videos if applicable. All warranty claims must be made immediately after you notice the alleged defect.

**6. Limitation of Liability**

Except as provided in this Warranty and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to loss of use.

**7. Customer Responsibilities**

You are responsible for transportation costs to the service centre. You should remove all personal information from the Product before handing it over. We are not responsible for any loss of your confidential information.

**8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution**

This Warranty shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of this Warranty shall be resolved by the competent courts of the United Kingdom.

**9. Miscellaneous**

No Regal Glass reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Warranty.

Please note: All warranty claims are subject to Skylights.co.uk review and discretion.

This Warranty does not affect any statutory rights that you may be entitled to as a consumer under applicable local law.
